While staying at l’Emeraude, camping Saint Malo, you can taste the local cuisine, shellfish and crustaceans, coastal fish and seasonal vegetables thanks to our restaurant.
Our beautiful Brittany is a gastronomic treasure! Fresh fruit and vegetables, seafood, local cold meats peppered and flavoured with wild herbs, essential dishes of Breton gastronomy such as pancakes, oysters or smoked mackerel accompanied by a small glass of white wine as aperitifs… come and taste the dishes offered on the menu of our restaurant and our snack bar. Fish, shellfish, shellfish, seafood platters are available every day on order, in fact, the shellfish and fish of the bay are the most famous specialities of the region including the oyster of Cancale which is characterized by an iodized flavor with an aftertaste of hazelnut. It can be eaten all year round, but is a little milder from May to August. At the campsite, you can also enjoy the famous “mussels and chips”, with the region’s speciality, the Bouchot mussel, which is grown at sea on wooden piles. Fleshy, yellow-orange in colour, it is known for its very aromatic taste, highly prized by gourmets.
